I thought I'd share this article about how strength or resistance training is good for your cardiovascular health, in addition to its many other benefits.
I also want to renew the invitation to join our lunchtime exercise sessions. We exercise for 10-15 minutes at 12:30 pm eastern time. Here is our schedule:
- Monday - arms/upper body
- Tuesday - yoga
- Wednesday - legs
- Thursday - yoga
- Friday - resistance bands/core/upper body
If you haven't done strength training and want to see what it's like, go ahead and join us. Monday and Friday are probably the least intimidating days. If you're embarrassed, you can feel free to exercise with your camera turned off. I'm of the opinion that even though we don't exercise for a long time, it's still good for us. It might even encourage more exercise outside our sessions. Hope to see you there!
