The hardest people you've found

We are going to be participating in a round table discussing both mechanized and human census linking. We like to provide examples of difficult finds that our inputters have made. Please let me know of the find you're most proud of. Who was super-difficult to find, but you still managed to find her/him?

Please provide the RecId number and all relevant information, so that we can use these as examples.

  1. I had a difficult find recently. I couldn't find more than 2 censuses for the daughter of a veteran who had 6 children. I searched on the parents and all of the children, and finally found one of the children with a woman of the same first name as his mother, and born at approximately the same time, but with a different husband and two more children. The location was right, the age of the child from the first marriage was right, and I made the assumption that there had been a separation or divorce from the first husband, and that this was the veteran's daughter with a different husband and family. The veteran was Edward Emmons 1311008036, and the daughter was Susie.
